Last Friday saw Lacrosse Victoria hold the Annual School Sport Victoria State finals for year 9s-12s students at Fawkner Park.
It was an amazing day that allowed the students to play the wonderful game, whether they play lacrosse outside of school or only play for school. There were wonderful skills on display, despite the horrendous weather towards the end of the day. With on and off rain and wind for days, all students stayed professional, playing through to help their teams win.
There were 14 schools with 34 teams split across four competitions, 9&10 all gender, 9&10 girls, 11&12 all gender and 11&12 girls. For each competition there was also a spirt award given to the team that showed the most sportsmanship, enthusiasm and overall school spirit.
Congratulations to the following schools for making it an awesome day of lacrosse!
