Live Scoring Information

LIVE SCORING GUIDE

The home team is responsible for entering match scores and statistics through GameDay. The opposing team should review and confirm the scoring after the game.

Pre-Game:

Teams must be entered before the game begins.

Pre-Game functions will lock 1 hour after the scheduled start time, so this must be completed before the game starts.

Step 1 – Navigate to the GameDay:

  1. Click Results Entry and Live Scoring
  2. Find the relevant game
  3. Click “Pre-Game”

Step 2 – Select Players

Select all players participating in the game and assign numbers if you haven’t already.

If a player’s name does not appear, this means they are not registered in the GameDay system. Players must be registered to be selected and eligible to play.

Step 3 – Complete Team Details

Scroll to the bottom and fill in:

  • Coaches
  • Officials
  • Scorer

Step 4 – Save Team Selection

Click “Save Team Selection.”

Step 5 – Complete the Ground Report

Fill out the Ground Report to provide information about field conditions or any issues that occurred during the game.

At-Game:

Once the game begins, scoring will take place in the “At Game” view.

Step 1 -Switch to At Game

At the top of the page, click “At Game” to switch from Pre Game setup to the live scoring view

Step 2 – Start the Game Clock

Before the game starts, ensure the game clock is set.

Once the game begins, you can start the game clock.

Step 3 – Record Scores, Player actions, Game Actions

Use the live scoring functions to record scores and actions as they occur during the game.

At half time, review with the Officials that all players are accounted for. If a player is not present, remove them from the player list in the Pre-game section.

Post-Game:

Once the game has finished, the following steps must be completed to finalise the match in GameDay.

Important:

Post game functions will lock 6 hours after the scheduled start time, so please make sure all information is completed promptly.

Step 1 – Confirm the Final Score

Double check that the final score is correct for both teams. Make sure all player stats are added in Post Game section.

Step 2 – Complete Individual Player Stats

Important: Quarter-by-quarter goals for individual players must be manually entered in the Post Game section. These do no automatically transfer from the At-Game scoring.

Step 3 – Complete B&F Votes

Ensure Best & Fairest (B&F) votes are entered by both teams Officials.

Step 4 – Complete the Injury Report

If any injuries occurred during the game, complete the Injury Report with the relevant details.

If no injuries occurred, confirm that no injury report is required.

Step 5 – Save and Review

Ensure all information has been saved correctly before leaving the page.

The opposing team should review the scoring to confirm the results are accurate.

Once both teams have confirmed, Officials must review and finalise before saving.
