Sporting Schools Funding: Get Lacrosse Into Your School

Sporting Schools Funding applications open Monday, February 16th for Term 2, 2026

Your school can access funding to run Quick Stix and bring lacrosse into PE classes. Yes, lacrosse. In school time. Getting kids hooked on the game we already know is awesome.

Why This Matters

Term 2 is when the lacrosse season gets underway. Kids who try lacrosse at school can jump straight into your local club while they're excited about it. More kids playing at school means more awareness of the sport, and more kids showing up to give it a go.

How You Can Help

The catch? Only schools and teachers can apply for this funding. That's where you come in.

• Send this to your school – Forward it to teachers, the PE coordinator, or the principal
• Tell your teachers about it – Let them know this funding exists
• Get your kids involved – Have them mention it to their PE teacher
• Spread the word – Remind everyone lacrosse is officially Olympic now (LA 2028!)

We know grant applications aren't exactly thrilling. But getting 20 new kids at training because they fell in love with the sport at school? That's the win.
