Lacrosse Victoria welcomes new Competitions Officer, Lauren Tolve
Lacrosse Victoria is pleased to welcome Lauren Tolve to the team as our new Competitions Officer, commencing Monday 9 February, 2026.
Originally from the United States, Lauren relocated to Australia in October and has already made a strong impression on and off the field. She is a graduate of Marketing and Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts and brings a blend of high-level playing experience, leadership and a genuine passion for community sport.
Since arriving in Australia, Lauren has joined the Footscray Lacrosse Club and is looking forward to contributing beyond playing, with a particular interest in supporting the development of younger athletes through coaching and mentorship.
She was drafted by the Brisbane Salties for the 2025 Major League Sixes season, where the team went on to win the Championship. That experience marked her first major step into Australian lacrosse following her move.

Lauren has been selected in the 2026 Women’s Sixes National Squad. She is excited to be part of the group building towards the 2028 LA Olympics, bringing both international perspective and on-ground experience to the role.
Before moving to Australia, Lauren enjoyed a standout NCAA Division I career at UMass. She served as team captain during the 2024–2025 season, was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team, and was part of the 2025 Atlantic 10 Conference Championship team. A two-way midfielder, she started every game across her final three collegiate seasons.
Lauren said she is excited to get started with Lacrosse Victoria and to connect with the community.
“I’m thrilled to join Lacrosse Victoria and become part of such a passionate, community-driven organisation. I’m most looking forward to building connections here in Victoria – helping grow lacrosse at every level.”
On behalf of the lacrosse community here in Victoria, we warmly welcome Lauren and look forward to the energy, experience and care she brings to the Competitions Officer role.
