Lacrosse Australia has announced the inaugural class of the Australian Lacrosse Hall of Fame, recognising 21 remarkable individuals whose achievements and dedication have shaped the sport across generations.
The Hall of Fame celebrates both on-field excellence, including performances at World Championships, World Cups and National Carnivals, and off-field contributions that have advanced and strengthened lacrosse throughout Australia.
Lacrosse Australia Chair Abbie Burgess-Brice described the moment as a proud milestone, honouring players, coaches, officials and volunteers who have helped build the game’s legacy.
Selection Committee Chair Graeme Hobbs said the inductees represent the "highest calibre of excellence" from over six decades of Australian lacrosse history, reflecting the nation’s long-standing success and influence on the global stage.
The 21 inductees include 17 from the modern era, three from the Hickory era and one Legend, and will be formally honoured at the Australian Lacrosse Hall of Fame Gala Dinner on Friday 14 November during the Major League Sixes event in Adelaide.
Lacrosse Australia will share more information about tickets soon.
