Vale Robert E Jackson
The Lacrosse Victoria community were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a lacrosse legend, Mr R.E. (Bobby) Jackson, recently.

Bobby was a valued and much-loved Member of the Victorian lacrosse fraternity, and made a significant contribution to lacrosse in the State of Victoria, and elsewhere, during his lifetime
Bobby was made a Life Member of the VLA in 1987, some 30 odd years ago. Not content to leave it at that, he continued on to complete a lifetime of service to lacrosse in Victoria, serving as VLA President in the early 90’s, Match Committee Member in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, and then General Committee Member again.
Throughout his life Bobby was also in active support of his beloved Camberwell Lacrosse Club.
The Victorian Lacrosse community extends its deepest condolences to his wife, Jan, and family; the Camberwell Lacrosse Club community; and his many lacrosse friends around the country and internationally.
Rest in peace, Bobby Jackson, pictured above with his wife, Janet.
