SSV Senior Secondary Lacrosse State Finals Wrap-up

The SSV Lacrosse State Finals for senior secondary students took place at Royal Park East on Friday, 28 August, marking the largest SSV secondary lacrosse event we have run. With 40 teams from 12 schools spread across 14 mini pitches, the whole day was simply good fun. The enthusiasm from the students showed just how steadily lacrosse is growing across Victorian secondary schools. We were also proud to welcome our first participating First Nations school to the competition.

Grand final spots came down to seven different schools across the four divisions, with plenty of enjoyable, competitive lacrosse right through the final round.

Get Your School Involved: Term 4 State Finals

The energy out at Royal Park East mirrors what is happening across our wider Melbourne club competitions right now. As our local club leagues head into their own finals season, school days like this prove that students pick up lacrosse quickly, have a blast running around with a stick, and want more opportunities to play.
