SSV Lacrosse Yr 7&8 State Finals

Lacrosse Victoria held the Annual School Sport Victoria Lacrosse State Finals for the Year 7&8 students at MCC Lacrosse Ground on today. And what a day it was! Melbourne turned on a beautiful day for us, and the students brought their A-game! And even better, the teams significantly improved across the day.

There were 17 teams from 7 schools. Congratulations to all of the teams from the following schools for an awesome day of lacrosse!

Mount St. Joseph Girls’ College

Patterson River Secondary College

Both finals were very close, with the Girls' Division going into overtime to decide the winner. The final results for the All Gender/Boys’ and Girls’ Divisions are below:

Girls’ Final:

1^st Melbourne Girls College def. 2^nd Patterson River Secondary College, 6 - 4 (OT)

All Gender/Boys’ Final:

1^st Montmorency Secondary College def. 2^nd Patterson River Secondary College, 9 – 7
