Men's Grand Final Recap

This past weekend, at PJ Lynch Reserve, held the Grand Finals for the Men's and Boys Junior competitions. The day was a success with six games being played. A huge thank you to Altona Lacrosse Club for hosting the memorable day of finals.

Kicking off the day was the U16s, with Williamstown versus Eltham. These guys kicked off the day. Eltham fought back after trailing early to become the U16 Boys Premiers with a 10–8 win over Williamstown.

Up next was the U14s with Williamstown Blue versus Footscray. Through a hard-fought game, Williamstown Blue became the U14 Boys Premiers after an 11–6 win over Footscray.

Following was the U18s with Williamstown versus Eastside. Williamstown became the U18 Boys Premiers with a 14–7 victory over Eastside.

Then it was on to the Community Cup, with Camberwell versus Williamstown. Williamstown took home the Community Cup Premiership after defeating Camberwell 17–3.

Next up was the Championship League Reserve, with Eltham versus Altona. Eltham became the Championship League Reserves Premiers after a 12–10 win over Altona.

To end our day, it was the Championship League, with Footscray versus Newport. Surrey Park were named the Championship League Premiers after a 9–8 golden goal win against Eltham in overtime, following a strong comeback.
