Lightning Carnival 2024

This past weekend, Lacrosse Victoria had the pleasure of hosting their annual U12 Boys and Girls Lightning Carnival at MCC’s Albert Ground. There was a successful turnout with 14 boys teams and 8 girls teams competing this year under the Kangaroo and Koala divisions. All of the teams played their hearts out, as teamwork and fun was seen across all the fields. As the tournaments concluded, Williamstown Cities defeated Footscray Green on Saturday for the U12 Boys and Eltham defeated MCC on Sunday for the U12 Girls, both champions going undefeated throughout the tournament. We would like to congratulate Williamstown Cities and Eltham on their wins this weekend, as well as all of the clubs that competed in this year’s Lightning Carnival. We are so proud of you all! We would also like to thank MCC for hosting the Lightning Carnival this year, as well as all of our volunteers for helping us put on such an incredible event. We couldn’t have done this without you!
