Coaching Applications Now Open: U15 Victorian Representative Teams

Lacrosse Victoria is calling for applications for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches across all four Under 15 State Representative teams for our 2026 campaign.

This year marks a significant change for the boys' program. Moving away from the regional team structure, the U15 Boys will now field two state-selected teams, Blaze and Breakers, bringing them in line with the girls' program, which has long operated this way. The U15 Girls teams remain Fire and Ice. All four teams are selected purely on merit, with no geographic boundaries. You earn your place based on ability.

New team names mean new identities, and we'll be introducing Blaze and Breakers alongside a new look for Fire and Ice later in the process. More on that to come.

All four teams will compete at the 2026 U15 Nationals on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, from 4 to 10 October, running alongside the 2026 Asia-Pacific Sixes Lacrosse Championships. It will be a special occasion, and being part of the inaugural Blaze or Breakers coaching staff, or continuing the Fire and Ice legacy, is worth getting excited about.

What we're looking for

Coaches who have experience working with youth lacrosse at a competitive level, can communicate clearly and lead confidently, and are genuinely invested in developing young players.

All applicants must hold a current Working With Children Check in Victoria and be fully available for the duration of the Nationals, 4--10 October 2026.

How to apply

Application forms are available on the website. There are two separate forms, one for the U15 boys' teams and one for the U15 girls' teams. Download and complete the relevant form, and submit it along with your resume and a cover letter outlining your coaching experience to general.manager@lacrossevictoria.com.au.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so get yours in as soon as you can.
