Announcing the 2026 Senior Women’s Victorian Head Coach – Michelle Davies

We’re thrilled to welcome Michelle Davies as Head Coach of the Victorian Women’s Lacrosse Team for 2026.

Michelle Davies

Michelle brings a wealth of experience both on and off the field. She last led the Senior Vic women in 2006, coached the Victorian U18 girls in 2025, and guided Australian U23 Touring Teams between 2020–2022. She also coached the USA Touring Team in 2022 and is currently the Assistant Coach of the Australian Senior Women’s Field Team ahead of the World Championships in Japan this July.

As a player, Michelle has been part of the Victorian program since her junior years and proudly represented Australia at the 2001 World Cup (Silver) and the 2005 World Cup (Gold).

Michelle says:

“I’m incredibly excited and grateful to accept the role of Head Coach for the Victorian Women’s Lacrosse Team in 2026. This opportunity comes at a perfect time and aligns strongly with preparation alongside the Australian Women’s Field Team as we head to Japan in July for the World Championships. I’m passionate about helping athletes grow, building a strong team culture, and driving high-performance standards, and I look forward to working closely with the playing group and wider lacrosse community to continue strengthening the Victorian program.”

We can’t wait to see Michelle bring her passion, expertise, and leadership to the Victorian program in 2026!
