U12 Competition Changes
The U12 Lightning Carnival dates are being brought forward.
With finals approaching, Lacrosse Victoria and clubs have come to the agreement that the final U12 Lightning Carnivals will be brought forward one week.
The U12 Boys Carnival will now be held on Saturday 12 August and the U12 Girls Carnival will now be held on Sunday 13 of August. U12 Competitions will now be a 13-round competition, concluding on the weekend of August 5/6.
This decision has been determined by the clubs to allow players that participate in both U12s and U14s to not have an overlap in games on the weekend of 19 August. In addition, this will allow spectators to attend and support both the U12 Lightning Carnivals and the U14 Grand Finals.
The venue for the U12 Lightning Carnivals is yet to be determined at this point.
