University lacrosse is open to everyone—whether you're a seasoned player already on a club team, someone who has never picked up a stick, or are a former player looking to get back in the game. Why Play Lacrosse?

Lacrosse is fast, dynamic, and a lot of fun. It combines speed, skill, and strategy, making it a fantastic way to stay fit while enjoying the thrill of competition. If you’ve never played before, don’t worry—university teams welcome beginners and provide all the training and gear you need to get started. You’ll quickly pick up the skills and be part of the action in no time. Plus, the lacrosse community is welcoming and inclusive, ensuring everyone—regardless of experience, gender, sexual orientation, ability or cultural background—has the opportunity to join the fun. If you already play club lacrosse you know how fun it is, joining your university team is a great way to meet new people.
