We are excited to announce all of the 2022 season premiers!

The 2022 Lacrosse field season has officially concluded over the weekend.

Our women wrapped up their finals series last weekend at Fearon Reserve, which saw five unbelievable Grand Finals played out. Four of the five games were determined by one goal, one of which was forced into OT, the remaining game was determined by two goals. Across all divisions, junior and senior, a different club was crowned champion; a tremendous result for Lacrosse throughout Victoria, highlighting the playing and coaching talent that our state possesses.

All finals were played in tremendous spirit, whilst also demonstrating fierce competitiveness. Our ladies have faced a rather unprecedented season following the Covid-affected past two years with numerous high performance duties including national and international tournaments in addition to our State League completing their Home/Away season within 10 weeks!

Congratulations to all girls and women for an amazing season!

It was an enthralling weekend of lacrosse as the boys and men concluded their season at Angliss Reserve for the seniors and Caulfield Park for the juniors. For what was a season filled with new processes and rulings, all clubs adapted and remodelled their internal procedures superbly.

Every club throughout our league has displayed an ability to overcome hardships throughout the Home/Away season. These hardships included the loss of integral players due to national and international duties, injuries and the ever present issue of Covid. The adaptability demonstrated by clubs was reflected in the Grand Final results with teams displaying their never-say-die attitude throughout all games, resulting in an extremely tense final weekend!

The majority of our Grand Finals were determined by two goals or less, including a number of come-from-behind victories, highlighting the versatility and determination of our clubs and their players!

Congratulations to all our boys and men for an amazing season!

Alongside our players, Lacrosse Victoria would like to acknowledge and congratulate our volunteers that make our sport possible, particularly our Victorian Lacrosse Officials (VLO). Taking on the hardest job in sports, officiating, our VLO representatives have adjudicated games to an exceptional standard in the face of limited availability! Without VLO we would not have a game to celebrate, so thank you for your tireless efforts.

Lacrosse Victoria is excited for an even bigger and better 2023 season!
