Seagull's speedstar Suares-Jury awarded U18 Girls League Best & Fairest!

Remember the name… Miriam Suares-Jury. A future star of lacrosse if she isn’t already! You do not want to find yourself attempting the chase her down on the field because you will not get close.

The Williamstown Women’s product has produced one of the most comprehensive lacrosse seasons you could ask for. Miriam was a leading figure in the Lacrosse Victoria’s VicSelects team, selected in the U18 Girls Victorian team for the National competition where she also claimed the tournament MVP accolade, a dominant player in WWLC’s State League team where she finished 5th overall in the league Best & Fairest vote count and is now crowned the U18 Girls League Best & Fairest player.

Miriam’s speed, athleticism, lacrosse IQ and stick control have made her one the most formidable lacrosse players in Victoria.

The pocket rocket concluded her 2022 season with an astonishing 65 goals and 24 assists, holding off Newport Ladies representative and U18 Victoria Co-Captain, Abbey Burns, by only two votes. Excitingly, Miriam has recently committed to Loyola University! An unbelievable achievement which we are thrilled by so enjoy her talents while you can.

Congratulations Miriam on a tremendous 2022 season!
