Brunswick's Big Win

After a big weekend in the Men’s State League competition the home and away games are over, and the competition has split. Brunswick’s 9-7 win over Chadstone helped them to officially secure a spot in the State League competition post recalibration. After a phenomenal win against MCC in double overtime, Camberwell takes the top of the ladder in the newly formed Men’s Championship competition.

The following clubs remain in the Men’s State League and State League Reserves competitions: Footscray, Williamstown, Malvern, Eltham, MCC, and Brunswick.

The following clubs have joined the newly formed Men’s Championship and Championship Reserves competition: Camberwell, Altona, Caulfield, Chadstone, and Surrey Park.

This weekend will be the first weekend of qualifying rounds with some big games to watch. On 22nd July, Footscray, who currently sit atop the ladder, will take on Williamstown, the number two team on the ladder, at Fearon Reserve.
