Vale Eric Nicholls and Dick Morgan
Lacrosse Victoria sends our condolences to friends and family of both Eric and Dick.
We are saddened to learn of the recent passing of Eric Nicholls, aged 83 and Dick Morgan, aged 97.
Eric started playing lacrosse at Camberwell with his brother Robert during the 1950's, playing all of their junior lacrosse at Camberwell, but Eric moved to Caulfield in the early 60's in order to play state league. He played in the Vic Colts team in 1962 under Terry Allington and played in the Victorian senior team in 1962 and 1966.
Dick Morgan never played lacrosse but became involved in the late 1960's when his son David started playing with Chadstone in the junior teams. Dick was always at the games and went on to become a Committeeman, President and Secretary of Chadstone over many years.
