The stage is set for the Women's State League and SL Reserves 2024 Grand Final to be played at The Albert Ground on Sunday August 4.

The U17 Girls Preliminary Final will be played as a curtain raiser, making for a great day of women’s lacrosse.

In making this announcement General Manager Michael Sholly said:

“Lacrosse Victoria is delighted to announce that due to the early conclusion of the Women’s State League season, MCC will host the Grand Final at the Albert Ground. With MCC not normally having access to their grounds during finals, an early August Grand Final gives this club a one-off opportunity to host.”

MCC’s President Peter Allen added:

“The MCC Lacrosse Club is thrilled to host the Women’s State League Grand Final this year. It has been over 20 years since we have been able to host a SL Grand final and we look forward to an amazing match.”
