Lacrosse Australia Club Coaching Courses

Lacrosse Victoria (LV) will be hosting the next LA Club Coach Course on Sunday, 15 September. More dates will be released shortly for next year. To schedule an additional course for your club please contact Nicola Millard-Michaels at finance@lacrossevictoria.com.au.

Participants who complete the Lacrosse Australia (LA) Club Coaching Course will receive:

A Level 1 (Club) Coaching Accreditation

A Coaching Manual

Please Note: To register for this course you are required to have a current Working With Children Check and have completed the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Community Essentials Skills Course and the Sports Integrity Australia modules online.

Minimum coaching accreditation for Club Lacrosse

To improve the standard of coaching in Victoria, LV requires all club coaches to complete the ASC Community Essentials Skills Course. This training is also ideal for aspiring coaches. This will be mandatory from the 2025 Season.

Training is free and can be done online. Following the successful completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate of completion.

To complete the ASC Community Essentials Skills Course coaches will need to:

  1. Enroll on the ASC Learning Portal here.
  2. Select the 'ASC Community Essentials Skills' course here.
  3. Email ASC Certificate to finance@lacrossevictoria.com.au.

Coaching accreditation for Representative Teams

Lacrosse Victoria advertises coaching positions for our representative teams when they are available.

The minimum level of accreditation all LV Representative Coaches must hold is the LA Club Coach Course.

Junior Development Coaches

Lacrosse Victoria is currently looking for a number of people to assist with conducting school clinics to Primary and Secondary students.

To be eligible for the position as a junior development coach you will need the following qualifications:

These qualifications are essential for anyone who is interested in continuing to coach lacrosse. An allowance will be paid to assist with expenses incurred.
