Taylor Mitvalsky of Newport Ladies Lacrosse Club polled in five games including four best afield to claim the A Grade Women's Best and Fairest from Meg Bown of Malvern and Alexandra Klepner of Camberwell.

Taylor is an accomplished sportswoman who was recruited by the late Sue Sofarnos during her time at Mount St. Joseph Girls’ College.  Taylor started her lacrosse career at Newport in 2017, joining the B grade team and swiftly picked up the stick skills to match her athletic ability.  Taylor quickly progressed to Newport A Grade, has won Club Best and Fairest awards, has been team captain, assists with school clinics and coached the U11s team.

"Taylor is a pleasure to coach, has a fantastic attitude and is always asking what she can do better.  Taylor puts in 100% at every training session and on game day, she is a vibrant and supportive team member.  Taylor always works hard, with a smile on her face and is a well-deserved winner."  commented her A Grade coaches, Di Smith and Sue McNamara

Runner up Meg Bown had a stellar year also winning the LV U17 Girls Competition Best and Fairest.
