Jake Mannix is a runaway winner in the Under 15 Boy's Competition polling 26 votes. He cleared out from equal second placegetters Brodie Cracknell and Liam Barnes who both collected 13 votes. Jake was voted best on ground by the officials in 7 games.

This is what Chris Miles Junior Boys Coordinator at Footscray said about Jake:

"Jake Mannix has a love for the game and a passion for learning and improving each day as a lacrosse player. He has shown an unbelievable commitment to improving his skills and working on his game during a difficult two years of being in and out of lockdowns. If the lights at the club were on during lockdown Jake was there practising.

Jake’s work ethic is second to none and he leaves no stone unturned in his pursuit of becoming an elite lacrosse player and athlete.

Jake’s hard work and dedication culminated in him playing his first state league game this year and scoring a goal, this award is a product of the time and dedication he puts into the game and the teammates that helped him achieve such an honour.

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Jake, his teammates and all of the juniors at FLC."
