Bryce Emery - 2021 U17 Boy's Best & Fairest
Bryce Emery - 2021 U17 Boy's Best & Fairest

Williamstown's Bryce Emery (17 votes) defeats Toby Templeton and Zander Elkins who share the runners-up podium with 14 votes. Bryce was voted as the best player on the ground in Williamstown's first five games.

Below are comments made by Mark Butler, coach of Williamstown's U17 Boys’ team.

"Although the side rotated its captaincy on a game-by-game basis, it was obvious Bryce was a clear leader of the side due to both his playing ability and his tremendous communication skills.

His ability and understanding of the way the game should be played is even more remarkable considering he has only been exposed to the game for 4 years (2 of those incomplete due to the virus)

His abilities were recognised and rewarded with promotion to the Fearons (Williamstown LC’s State League side) during the season, a fantastic feat in itself, and testament to the terrific future Bryce has at the WLC and beyond.

Congratulations Bryce"
