Lacrosse Victoria is pleased to announce those players selected to the represent Victoria on the 2019 U18 Boy's State Team.
Coach Chris Marsh and his staff will look make it three straight U18 championships this year in Perth. Coach Marsh along with Assistants Darren Nicholas and Lee Davis see a lot of potential in this group. With 11 returners from last years team, including alternates, the staff has a nice mix of veteran experience and new talent. This group shows the balance of players across the state with 10 clubs represented within the selections.
When asked about the roster makeup, Coach Marsh was excited and said that they "have selected a very well balanced roster with
more true athletes through the midfield." We also asked Coach Marsh about his goals and expectations for the April tournament and he said,"the goals are to get everyone on the same page and up to speed with our fundamentals early and then move forward with some set plays. We also
just want to get to Perth, rest up and come out blazing!"
We look forward to following the campaign of the 2019 U18 Boys Victorian Team! Congratulations to those selected!
