On Friday 22nd September, Lacrosse Victoria held their awards night at Lifeguards @200 Function Centre. There was upward of 200 people in attendance to witness the re-awarding of the Grand Final trophies, the acknowledgement of all state team representatives, the presentation of the newest Lacrosse Victoria life member, the Best & Fairest awards and other special awards.
On the 25th March at the Lacrosse Victoria Annual General Meeting, David Joy was voted in as the newest Lacrosse Victoria Life Member. Congratulations to David, as this is an amazing honour.
The following winners of Lacrosse Victoria Grand Finals were all re-presented their winning trophies.

The final awards to be presented were the Lacrosse Victoria Special Awards.
Sporting Act of the Year Stephen Weissbacker, Moreland Lacrosse Club
Nominated by MCC for his treatment of one of their players who was injured in the S/L game on Saturday 22nd July. His diligence, care and compassion to Travis for over half an hour was very much appreciated by the club. Stephen demonstrated the values of great sportsmanship which spanned across club lines. He reassured Travis that assistance was on its way and in the meantime helped minimize the movement and discomfort that was evident due to the injury.
Coach of the Year Max Madonia, Footscray Lacrosse Club
Max coached the Victorian Senior Men’s team to the National title in June, and also coached the Footscray State League Men’s team to an undefeated home & away season.
