Compulsory Mouth Guards for Season 2015
In 2013, the FIL introduced compulsory mouth guards for Men's Field Lacrosse. Lacrosse Victoria advised clubs that there would be a 12 month exemption period, which covered the 2014 season. With the 2015 season fast approaching, clubs and players are reminded that mouth guards are now required to be worn by all Senior Men.
There will be a two week grace period before officials will implement the compulsory mouth guards rule, allowing all players adequate time to obtain a mouth guard.
The rule will be enforced from Round 3 (April 25).
