Lacrosse Victoria would like to congratulate Sue McSolvin for being awarded the 2015 Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia in the General Division for her service in lacrosse. We would also like to sincerely thank Sue for her countless contributions to our great game at not only the international and national level but also at the grassroot level. Below are just a few of the ways she has given back to Lacrosse:

Ms McSolvin has represented Australia at 6 Lacrosse World Cup Events, Australian Women's
Lacrosse Team, since 1993.


Player, Victorian Senior Lacrosse Team, since 1988. Coach, Under 17 Girls Team, Caulfield Lacrosse
Club, 2007;


Member, State League Association Premiership Team, 2001-2003, 2005.

Goal Keeping Coach, Australian Women's Under 19 Lacrosse Team, since 2003;

Player, 1985-1987. Coach, Victorian Under 16 Girls State Lacrosse Team, 2001, 1988; Assistant
Coach, 1987; Player, 1982-1985.

Certificate of Merit, Australian Lacrosse Association, 2013.

Life Membership, Caulfield Lacrosse Club, 2013.

Recipient, The John Wesley Patterson Award, Federation of International Lacrosse (presented to a
player who embodies the spirit of the game in the World Cup), 2013.

Recipient, Coaches Award, Caulfield Lacrosse Club, 1996.
