Victoria Well Represented in Australian Team

2014 Australian Men's Team, Andrew Ham vs John Tokarua
The Australian Lacrosse Association today released the final squad for the Men’s team to represent Australia in the upcoming 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships in Denver.
Amongst the 23 strong squad were eight (8) Victorians from six (6) clubs demonstrating the strength and depth of Lacrosse across the State.
The eight Victorians earning Australian honours are:
Sam Bullock – MCC
Andrew Ham – Surrey Park
Marty Hyde – MCC
James Lawerson – Footscray
Ben Newman – Williamstown
Keith Nyberg – Eltham
Nathan Stiglich – Eltham
John Tokarua – Caulfield
Also named as alternates for the team are:
David Gal – Malvern
Chris Plumb – Footscray
Lacrosse Victoria, and the entire Victorian Lacrosse community, would like to congratulate all the Victorians selected, along with the rest of the team and looks forward to cheering on the Australian Sharks as they take on the world in July.

The championships begin on July 10 and finish on July 19.
