Don Riddington, an MCC Lacrosse man and Australian Team member at the 1967 World Series in Toronto has just become the oldest Australian to successfully swim the English Channel!
The swim was completed last weekend 14th July and took 19 hours and 45 minutes to complete.
Don who is 68 years old described the swim as being the hardest 20 hours of his life, but a dream come true.
Shows what a youth spent running the lines in lacrosse can do for life long fitness!
Congratulations Don from the lacrosse fraternity.
