Vale Charlie Osborne
Dr Charlie Osborne died following a long illness on 2nd August 2012.
Charlie was Sport Psychologist for the Australian Men’s Under 19 Lacrosse Teams that competed in the 1992, 1996 and 1999 World Championships, and for the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) Lacrosse Program. He made a major contribution in bonding a group of individuals from different states, clubs and backgrounds into a cohesive “Australian” team of players who were prepared to put the interests of the team above their own personal aspirations. This was a key factor in the success of the 1992 and 1996 teams in obtaining a ‘Silver Medal’ at the World Championships.
Sincere condolences to his wife Bev and his family.
