Glenn Meredith gets the nod for top job in 2014

The Australian Lacrosse Association is pleased to announce the
appointment of Glenn Meredith as Head Coach of the Australian Men's
Team 2014. The Team will compete at the Federation of International
Lacrosse (FIL) Men's World Championship to be held in Denver,
Colorado in the USA. This event is scheduled to be held 10 - 19
July 2014.
Glenn grew up in Melbourne, Victoria, playing lacrosse for
Caulfield and Malvern. He has played competitively since the age of
8. As a senior player Glenn has been a member of 5 State League
Premiership teams, played 286 State League games and is currently
Head Coach of State League for Malvern. Glenn played a number of
times for Victoria and was named in All Star Teams on 2 occasions.
He is currently Head Coach for the Victorian Senior Men's Team and
played a significant part in the success of that team which has won
the national event for the last 5 years.
Glenn was selected to play in the following Australian teams

- 1983 Under 19 Australian Team Tour of America
- 1985 Box Lacrosse Tour of Canada and America
- 1989 Senior Australian Team Tour of America World Series warm
up.
- 1989 Senior Australian Team Captain - Tour of Japan
- 1990 Senior Australian Team - World Series Perth
Glenn is also an experienced and successful business man which,
along with his very extensive lacrosse career, will bring a wealth
of information and knowledge to the position of Head Coach of the
Australian Team 2014.
Upon his acceptance of this appointment Glenn said "Lacrosse
is such a enormous and important part of my life, and I am
extremely excited and honoured to accept the position as Head Coach
of our Australian Men's Team for 2014 in Denver."

pleasure that the ALA has appointed Glenn
as Head Coach of the Australian Men's Team to Denver in 2014.
Glenn's dedication,
experience and passion will undoubtedly place him in an
excellent position to head the team
on this journey."
