ALA announce Director of Officiating

Further to the Casual Vacancy position on the ALA Board which resulted from the ALA 2015 Annual General Meeting, ALA takes great pleasure in announcing that this position has now been filled.

The new ALA Director of Officiating is Mr. Kelvin Minerds.

Kelvin began his association with lacrosse in South Australia playing in school competitions and then moving up to play senior lacrosse at the Sturt Lacrosse Club. Kelvin then moved to Victoria due to work commitments and joined the Caulfield Lacrosse Club as a senior player, retiring around the year 2000. Kelvin then joined the officiating ranks at club level and participated in his first national event in 2002 at the Australian Under15 Tournament in Perth.  He has gone on to officiate at all levels of National competition, as well as at international events in 2006, 2008 and 2010 as a referee.
Kelvin has also served as a committee member at club level and with ALRA VIC, holding executive positions, as well as holding the position of Secretary of Lacrosse Victoria for several years.
