State Government Defibrillator Grants

The Victorian Government has recently opened grants for Sporting Clubs to acquire defibrillators.

The Defibrillators for Sporting Clubs and Facilities Program provides Victorian sporting clubs with the opportunity to acquire an automatic external defibrillator (also known as an ‘AED’) for their club or sports facility.

Successful applicants receive an ‘Automatic External Defibrillator Package’. The package includes a high quality defibrillator, some basic training and a minimum of three years of essential maintenance. This package will be provided by a qualified contractor engaged by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Details of the grant program can be found at

Round 1 applications close 28th October, 2015.

Lacrosse Victoria encourages all clubs to take advantage of this opportunity to provide an even safer environment for its members.
