All that glitters is Gold, Silver and Bronze!
Here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for - the grand unveiling of the winners medals at this years Games! The medal has been designed by Games Partner and Geelong based design company Adcell Group and in every age category of every sport, each athlete to adorn the podium will take home their very own.
In total 19,500 medals have been ordered across the games, that's 6500 gold, silver and bronze! The medals measure 50mm wide and 60mm high and the event title and dates have been embossed on the front of the medal. There is still plenty of space on the reverse to have the name of the successful event engraved.
They look spectacular! Best of luck to all for collecting a record medal haul!
