To further develop and enhance the Australian Team program, ALA is pleased to announce an additional and ongoing pathway between U19 and Senior Australian teams, with the scheduling of a bi-annual U21 Australian Team program.

  • U21 Australian Men’s Team 2013
  • U21 Australian Women’s Team 2013

ALA is also pleased to announce the 2013 tour details for these teams. Both teams will embark on a two week tour of two countries and competition, including;

  • 2013 Friendship Games, Tokyo Japan, 14 – 17th June,
  • 2013 ASPAC Championship, Beijing China, 21 – 26 June

ASPAC Championship

Australia has been well represented in all previous ASPAC events, with both our Australian men’s and women’s teams winning Silver in Auckland NZ in 2011. Competition in Beijing is expected to be just as tough as it was in Auckland.

Friendship Games

The Friendship Games in Tokyo will provide a full on preparation for ASPAC, as our U21 teams take on the Senior Japan Nationals Teams. The visit to Tokyo will also include competition with university teams.

Coaches & Managers

Applications for Coach and Manager positions will be called during October. Please see www.lacrosse.com.au for details.

Player Applications

Applications for the U21 Squads are now open and will close on 25th January 2013. Please see www.lacrosse.com.au for details.

*Current ‘under 21 eligible’ members of the 2013 women’s squad and the 2014 men’s squad, will be included in the 2013 U21 squads (with no additional application cost); these players should advise their interest, as per the application requirements.
