Club referee accreditation programs to run in May

All clubs are required to provide an accredited club referee for each game in which they have a team competing. ALRA is responsible for conducting these 2hr accreditation programs. In past years accreditation has been valid for  two years but in 2012, because of a significant number of rule changes being introduced into the game, all club personnel who are intending to be club referees this year must be re-accredited.

Two accreditation sessions will be conducted this year as follows:

Program 1 Wednesday 2nd May 2012 from 7.30pm - 9.30pm at Kangan Batman TAFE, Pearcedale Pde, Broadmeadows

Program 2 Wednesday 9th May 2012 from 7.30pm - 9.30pm at Monash University, (S2.30 theatre located on second level of S building), Sir John Monash Dve, Caulfield

Each program will cover issues including rule interpretations, simultaneous fouls, signals, positioning and the session will finish with an exam that participants will be required to pass (60%) in order to be accredited. Please bring along a pen to the session.

To register for an accreditation session please email Lacrosse Victoria at by 26 April for session 1 and 3 May for session 2.
